Last Christmas was our busiest month in the entire history of Tiny Rabbit Hole. We received a custom order from an unsuspecting poor little girl who claimed to be a student. The girl told us she did not have access to a credit card and there is no adult who can pay on her behalf. She wanted to make a rainbow unicorn with at least 5 pastel colours. We pride ourselves with great custom design and workmanship so we went all out and crafted a 7-coloured rainbow unicorn, even without taking any advance payment. On hindsight, we had been careless, probably because we were too engrossed in the process of creating the unicorn.
All discussions went on buttery smooth, maybe a little too smooth for a design of such complexity. The situation changed when the unicorn was completed and ready for collection. She repeatedly changed our appointment dates at the last minute. We had no choice but to accommodate. One day, she requested to meet up at Hougang MRT station where Yewtong, our techsmith, lives. When it's time for the meet up, she texted us, wanting to meet at Serangoon MRT station instead because she had missed a couple of stops. Naturally, Yewtong felt suspicious. When Yewtong asked for her phone number, she did not have one. The episode plot became obvious when her "mother" took over the communication. There is neither a poor little girl nor a mother, there's only a scammer.
It does’t matter, we are all chill. The creation of Rainbow Unicorn has marked an epoch of the evolution of Magical Creatures. You know right? Our rainbow unicorn has been the most popular character since its inception. We wanted to pay royalties to that scammer but she is totally uncontactable. So now we are officially welcoming scammers. But please don’t go MIA out of sudden or give up halfway!
