Our core team

ANGIE NG
Crochet Artist
Hello! Iām Angie and Iām the girl behind the hooks and yarns, and the voice behind our social media and blog.
When I was ten, I picked up crochet out of curiosity to make my first bag. However it didnāt satisfy me. Fast forward fifteen years, I made my first amigurumi. I was elated at what I could make with just a hook and a few rolls of yarns! It was amazing and still unbelievable till this day.Ā
One day, I was annoyed. I couldnāt find the amigurumi pattern that I wanted. Thatās when I started making my first amigurumi pattern. Being proficient with my design softwares help me in executing the patterns and sharing with other amigurumi lovers. It was a hell of a ride doing things that Iāve never done before and it was exhilarating.Ā
We started teaching crochet not long after as people are getting curious about how they are made. Now we are a cosy amigurumi studio in the heart of Singapore, making magic one at a time.

TERRIX LIN
Yarn Untangler
Hello! Iām Terrix and Iām a natural storyteller using my photography skills and product styling philosophy.
I honed my skills to make the amigurumi interact with its environment and tell a story. Sometimes, the audience think that the amigurumi are demonstrating real feelings, and that really tickles me!Ā
Having no background in crochet, it took me a lot of effort to learn the basic techniques before being confident in making good crochet cactuses!Ā
Having been through the rough, I can easily pick up problems from beginners and correct them from the start.Ā
It is not common to see guys crocheting. However, do you know that samurais in Japan were the ones mending clothes when their clothes were torn during battles? Maybe, I am the samurai, thus the long hair.
TRH Teaching Method
When she was 10, Angie stumbled across crochet. A fancy term that she didnāt got to understand at that age. She took on the challenge and braved through six whole months, while schooling, to complete her first successful piece. Which was actually mostly redone by her teacher, unfortunately.
Stumbled across crochet again after graduating with an Australian Degree, she took into the liking of crochet plushies as that is what she loves best.Ā
Took on by the whirlwind, Angie started making, designing and teaching Amigurumi (crochet plush in Japanese) on demand. She has since stepped into her 4 years of teaching crochet. Together with her team, they guide complete beginners who have never heard of the term ācrochetā, to become crochet hobbyists. It is an achievement indefinitely.Ā
What Angie and the teaching team found out while teaching crochet is that everyone has a unique way of learning. Be it kids who are still developing their motor skills, or adults who are no longer nimble in their fingers (except phones and computers), her team has a way to deal with it.Ā
With that, Angie developed a series of videos based on her teaching. Definitely the 4 years worth of beginner problems, questions and mistakes has been fully covered in the video. Chances of misunderstanding or misinterpreting is brought to an all time low. To top it up, we have included 1-1 online drop-in sessions to bring you back onto the right path.Ā
We want you to enjoy crocheting like how Angie did. Letās populate the world with cuteness and squishies together!
