Own time own target workshop

This workshop is suitable for students who have completed our Introduction to Crochet Workshop or equivalent.

Time Flexibility is key and we heard you! We have specially opened our Mentorship Workshop with longer duration and multiple sessions per week to fit into your busy schedule. Simply turn up anytime during our sessions and our Crochet Master will guide you through your chosen amigurumi project. 

During this mentorship, you'll learn the full process of creating your own crocheted plushie. This workshop is fully guided with detailed step-by-step instructions and tips and tricks. Left handers and plushie lovers are welcomed. Students will walk away with comprehensive amigurumi skills and their own hand-crocheted amigurumi after several sessions. After completing this workshop, you will be confident to start any amigurumi projects on your own.

Bring along your basic crochet kit from the first workshop you attended with us.

Please note that crocheting an amigurumi requires time and practice. You might not expect a completed item at the end of the first session.

You can come with between your selected date timing. Don't have to be on the dot.

This workshop is valid for 1 month. Come as many sessions as you want to complete your amigurumi. You can extend it beyond 1 month, extend it here.  

What you will be learning
magic ring (MR) / chain (ch) / single crochet (sc) / double crochet (dc) / increase (inc) / decrease (dec) / placing the safety eyes / stuffing your amigurumi / finishing off / stitching parts together / Lark's head knot / invisible color change / reading crochet pattern

Lesson Plan
Crocheting in the ring, placing the safety eyes, stuffing, finishing off, felting (optional), stitching body parts.

About Instructor
Angie Ng is an avid crochet artist. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication in Australia. While in Australia, Angie has seen how creative the Australians are with their handmade markets held every month. Everyone has interesting ideas, and Angie decided to adopt one for her own. She picked up her crochet hook since 10 and started making magical creatures amigurumi. Angie is a Web Designer by profession. Having a trained eye for design, Angie loves to create beautiful things. She is someone who has plenty of patience and always enthusiastic to share her experience and knowledge to unlock these magical creatures into our lands...
