Introduction to Crochet @ New Chinatown Studio

1 session workshop 2+ hours each. No prior experience required.

This is a short 2+ hour Crochet Workshop to kickstart your crochet journey. This workshop is all about the hands-on experience with crocheting a mini cactus but do note that you may not finish it within the time frame. Please have your lunch/dinner before coming inYou're encouraged to continue working on the cactus at our studio, or you may bring home to complete it. Cactus lovers and left-handers are welcomed. If you would like to learn a new skill, this is the course for you. Students will walk away with basic knowledge of how to crochet. After you've completed this workshop, you may sign up for our level 2 workshop. 

All materials and tools will be provided for use during the workshop. There will be 2-3 crochet trainers to guide all of you.

How to hold yarn and crochet hook / Chains (ch) / Single crochet (sc)

Lesson Plan
Making chains, single crochet in rows. Stitching the cactus.

    Our workshops are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your seat to another person.

    For a change of dates, please inform us at least 7 days in advance. In the event that it's less than 7 days, a $10 admin charge will be incurred per seat.

    About Instructor
    Angie Ng is an avid crochet artist. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication in Australia. While in Australia, Angie has seen how creative the Australians are with their handmade markets held every month. Everyone has interesting ideas, and Angie decided to adopt one for her own. She picked up her crochet hook since 10 and started making magical creatures amigurumi. Angie is a Web Designer by profession. Having a trained eye for design, Angie loves to create beautiful things. She is someone who has plenty of patience and always enthusiastic to share her experience and knowledge to unlock these magical creatures into our lands...
